[00:00:45] Okay, let's jump in. [00:00:46] Hello, and welcome to
this. Week's a shorter episode of the podcast where I give you some actionable tips and
strategies you can take away and start implementing. Right away. This week. [00:00:57] I
wanted to talk about a little challenge that I've set myself [00:01:00] in case it sparks something
in you and gives you some ideas about how you can make more sales. Without doing any more
work sounds ideal. I know. [00:01:09] So back in June, I went on holiday for a week with my
family and while I was away for seven days, I made nine sales. [00:01:17] I actually wasn't really
unintentional goal. However, when I came back and I was looking through what happened while
I've been away? I had a look on my Stripe account. I was like, oh, do you know what I made
more than one sale a day while I was away now, generally in my business that doesn't happen
every single week. [00:01:33] So I do have payments coming in quite regularly. But I wouldn't
say absolutely minimum once a day I got payment. [00:01:40] But it did get me thinking I, over
the summer, while I'm dropping down to three days a week, not taking on any new one-to-one
clients Partly because I want to have more space and time for the kids. I also have new team
members. I want to onboard. Because September is going to be really busy time, both because
clients often come to me in September and I'm like, right, I'm [00:02:00] ready. [00:02:00] Q4, I
really want to get ad sorted. But also my own business. [00:02:03] I'm launching my mastermind
for the first time. So I want to make sure that over the summer, my audience grades doesn't
drop off. People are still engaged. The people are still able to get a taste of what it's like to work
with me. [00:02:14] Start building that trust to help them get to know me so that when I do go
into launching my mastermind, I'm not starting from a complete standstill, which should be
honest, is something that has happened to me. A few times over the years. I've thought, oh, I'll
just take all this off everyone. Else's off. [00:02:28] And then it comes to September. Am I forget
just how much it takes to kick the algorithm back in. Get back in front of people. There's so
much competition because there's so much going on. Anyway. So I was like, what if, because,
you know, An ADHD brain. [00:02:43] I needed a little deepening hit. I need to make it a little
challenge. But what if I could get 42 sales over the 42 days of the summer holiday? So six
weeks of summer holidays. Now. In an ideal world, I'd get a sale a day because you know, that
is a really lovely, isn't it? However, the [00:03:00] reality is it's always peaks and troughs. So I
gave myself the average. [00:03:03] So as long as I get 42 sales over 42 days, I will have
completed my challenge. Now, obviously nothing's going to happen if I don't complete it, but it's
really nice focus for me. So what I thought I do in this episode. It's just talk you through, what I'm
doing to get those 42 sales, I love. Understanding how people's businesses work because I
think there's so much you can learn that you don't see often when you're just looking at like their
Instagram or their website. [00:03:29] As I'm recording this, I am 16 days in to the summer
holidays, which I can't quite believe because out of 42, that doesn't seem that many, but it does
feel like it's been going on for quite a long time. [00:03:41] I've got 26 sales so far. So I thought
I'd break down a little bit the main ways I get income. First of all, I've got the audience builder
course. That is my DIY Facebook ads calls. So that starts at like 197 pounds and people can
just sign up and do it. They didn't have to have any kind of interaction with me at all if they don't
want to. [00:03:59] Although there are
[00:04:00] options too, if they want to like group coaching
calls or one-to-one support. Then we've got raw. R O H R I always think people think it might
sound like roar as in like raw food, raw meat. Obviously it's raw and then like the lion. And that is
eight weeks one-to-one sprint. [00:04:17] Then I have ignite, which is a group program. I run
alongside collect, but Beth, who is a storytelling, a messaging coach. I then have consultancy
and ads management clients. [00:04:26] So I do that ads management for them. I can start in
their businesses on their ad strategy, their marketing. I helped them with launches evergreen
funnels, that sort of thing. I then have in-person events. So I had one in July and I've got another
one in September. I'm also an ads coach for another group program. I am an affiliate for a few
people and their courses and their products as well. And some people license, my audience
build a course to use for their students. [00:04:54] So what they have a group program, they
wanted an ads element. So they give their students access to my [00:05:00] course, and then
they pay me to get the access. [00:05:02] So that's how my offers stack up in my business and
the ways that I get revenue. [00:05:06] So the first thing is although I'm not taking on any more
one-to-one clients at the moment for RA. I have a three month payment plan. And some of those
payments will be coming in over the school holidays. My consultancy clients, they pay on a
monthly basis anyway, so they have a monthly retainer that comes in every month. I also get
paid monthly to be the group coaching ads, mentor. We have monthly payment plans for the.
Group. Program. I run with calamity Beth. [00:05:36] So a lot of the, so lots of the payments will
be coming in any way. So I kind of roughly knew how many payments I was going to get in over
the summer holidays.
[00:05:44] I then had my flash sale of the audience builder course
[00:05:46] So that degenerate quite a number of the sales. And that was intentional. That was
part of my sales goal for the summer. And people joining that course. There's no additional.
Pressure or time on me. [00:05:57] So it's a brilliant one to sell at the [00:06:00] beginning of the
summer holidays to generate revenue and sales. Without having to do any more work.
[00:06:05] So currently the offers I have that I can flex our, the audience builder course getting
people to buy the things that I am affiliates for, which by the way, I only affiliates with things I
really truly believe in and use myself. So I could do. Campaigns around those and then also
introducing any new offers. [00:06:24] I have two new low ticket offers that I am currently
planning and working on, but I plan to launch before the end of summer, that will give me more
opportunities to leverage sales when I'm not working, because, although the audience builder
calls is a great way to bring in revenue and generate more sales. [00:06:40] I can't then go and
do another sale on that. And yes, I could increase my ads. I could get more people to the sales
page. I could get more conversions, but actually there's a few other courses I've got in. Mind,
slightly smaller courses a little bit earlier on. But I think would be really, really helpful for people
to get started with ads. [00:06:58] So my plan is to [00:07:00] create those and launch those
within the summer to then generate some additional revenue as well. So that in the future my
goal at the moment is really looking forward to Christmas. So over Christmas, I've got at least
three or four low ticket offers. I can be selling all the time. [00:07:16] I actually have a goal this
year to take the month of December off now. That's actually the first time I've said that out loud. I
know a lot of people want to take the summer holidays off . It just doesn't really appeal to me to
have the whole summer off, especially if we're not going away on holiday, it feels like quite a
long time, a lot of time to fail. [00:07:32] I think my daughter would rather be like activity comes a
lot of the time anyway. So dropping that three days is perfect. But December, I do find incredibly
challenging. There's a lot going on at the kids' schools. They're very tired. I find the end of that
first term of the year. [00:07:45] It's always really hard. We're actually going away for a week this
year at Christmas as well. I actually would just love to take the whole month of December off,
but to do that, I know. I really need to get my team in place and get these products and pastes. I
can dial up the revenue [00:08:00] because it's quite an expensive month generally. To just take
off. [00:08:03] So that's my goal. The starting point is these 42 sales over the summer holidays.
[00:08:09] So as a quick summary, I'm doing okay at the moment, 26 sales in the first 16 days,
I've got a little bit of a buffer. I've got a lot of recurring revenue that comes in every month that
doesn't have a huge amount of flags, which is good. [00:08:22] That's what I've been aiming for.
But if you want to go for sales every single day, you've got to have those flex products on top.
So the audience builder course was a great start. I built that earlier this year and it's done
incredibly well for me. And now I want to add a couple more products on top to help me hit those
42 sales in 42 days. I will keep, I will be keeping you updated on the podcast on my Instagram.
Because I think it's always really interesting to see how people actually get on with these kinds
of challenges and whether I achieve it or not. Isn't really, the goal is more for me about the focus
and actually getting into myself into a position where I really. Have the ability to hit [00:09:00]
this kind of goal. So I hope that was useful. [00:09:02] I hope it sparks some inspiration or made
you think about things a little bit differently or made you think, okay. What's in my toolkit. Oh, I
was in my office. I can dial up and down. If I did have ads running, how could I get more sales
without how to adding to my workload? And that's exactly what we will be doing in the
mastermind is building this kind of ads powered business. When I launched in September.
[00:09:25] So if this is something that you're looking to do. Then I'll pop the link to the wait list. In
the show notes. So you can go and join the wait list so that when I open applications in
September, you can find out more details [00:09:36] and see if you think and see if it would be a
good fit for you to come and join us. I hope this has been helpful and I will see you next week.
